TENORI-ON Worldwide Launch in London and Manchester By media artist Toshio Iwai and Yamaha Co-presented by Futuresonic and Yamaha Featuring Toshio Iwai, Robert Lippok, Fourtet, Secondo, Graham Massey If film does not load view on: YouTube Futuresonic was excited to co-present the worldwide launch of the amazing TENORI-ON by Toshio Iwai and Yamaha. TENORI-ON is a unique AV instrument - a cross between performance instrument and art object. The TENORI-ON is an example of Device Art - it was created by an artist in a way that was simultaneously art and commercial development. Yamaha decided to stage the worldwide launch in the UK following the success of Toshio Iwai's show using TENORI-ON at Futuresonic 2006, also featuring Iwai's Electroplankton and SoundLens. The TENORI-ON has been showcased and refined at major music events and media art festivals; Sonar (Spain), Futuresonic (UK), Ars Electronica (Austria), SIGGRAPH (USA) and Art Futura (Spain), with the first fully realised live show produced by Futuresonic in Manchester as a part of Futuresonic 2006.
